- Leasers and Owner Operators
If you have your own authority, you can run for Tradewinds Brokerage. If you do not have authority, you can lease on with Tradewinds Transportation.
Tradewinds takes 12% of the freight only and passes 100% of everything else on to the leaser or owner operator. All fuel surcharges, stop charges, and waiting time go to the truck owner.
Tradewinds Transportation can also provide a trailer on a full maintenance lease of 11% of the freight, not the gross of the load. Tradewinds covers the cost of routine maintenance, tires, brakes, etc. You pay for repairs or maintenance resulting from operator error or carelessness.
